”Alltså, borde inte Chelsea Cain skriva något nytt om Gretchen, Susan och Archie snart?” tänkte jag och slog till och gjorde en sökning på google. Jag plöjde bok två och tre i Mexiko och jag VILL ju läsa mer, numedengååååång, men jag vill (eller jajaja, BORDE) inte köpa fler böcker på ett tag.

(Åter-)Fann hennes hemsida och andades nästan ut när jag såg att den senaste boken heter ”The Night Season”. Jag hade redan bestämt mig för att alla Gretchen-Susan-Archie ska ha något med ”heart” i titeln (Heartsick, Sweetheart, Evil at heart) så det här borde ju vara ganska lugnt. Jag kollade in den där nattvisionen ändå, för säkerhets skull, och minsann minsann – där är de ju igen.

Hur länge ska jag klara att INTE trycka på köp-knappen tror ni? Mmmmgrrrrrmpf…

Gretchen sägs vara ganska – men inte helt – frånvarande i den här boken, och det är ju riktigt trist (hon är mer än halva nöjet). Tack vare detta kanske jag kan hålla mig från köpknappen i någon vecka, åtminstone. Chelsea lovar emellertid att vår favoritseriemördare återvänder i bok nummer fem:

Gretchen is in jail, Archie and Susan are on the trail of a new serial killer, and Portland is flooding! A major character is poisoned. A major character drowns. And a major character gets hypothermia. So there is a lot of derring-do. That said, this is a good book for those of you who are new to the series. You can read it without having read the other three, and there is less stabbing in this one. Gretchen fans, do not be alarmed. She’s in this book. Just a little. And she’ll be back in book five when the stabbing continues. This book also features a lot of good tips that may save you from drowning at some point in the future. An excellent investment in your safety.
